La centrale de géothermie profonde Rittershoffen d’ECOGI

 

Aujourd’hui, on vous dit tout sur le premier projet au monde à valoriser directement la chaleur issue de la géothermie profonde au sein d’un process industriel à haute température.

Un doublet de puits a été mis en place à Rittershoffen pour permettre de récupérer la chaleur géothermale à 2500 mètres de profondeur. Des canalisations permettent de transporter la chaleur jusqu’à la bio-raffinerie de Beinheim (Roquette Frères).

La centrale permet désormais de récupérer 24MW thermiques à partir de la chaleur contenue dans les eaux chaudes circulant naturellement dans les formations fracturées du Fossé rhénan.

A well doublet was set up at Rittershoffen to recover geothermal heat at a depth of 2,500 meters. Pipes are used to transport heat to the bio-refinery in Beinheim (Roquette Frères).

The plant now allows thermal recovery of 24MW from the heat contained in the warm waters circulating naturally in the fractured formations of the Rhine Trench.
