Aujourd’hui : présentation du vol de distance en parapente avec de magnifiques paysages survolés grâce à seulement deux superbes vols en parapente au travers de 4 massifs des Alpes !
On voulait partager ces images avec vous en vous montrant aussi comment on réalise de façon totalement non polluante les images aériennes que nous intégrerons dans les futures interviews de En l’Air pour la Terre.
C’est notamment ces paysages incroyables qui renforcent notre motivation pour nous investir dans la lutte contre le changement climatique en essayant au maximum de préserver la richesse incroyable de notre Planète.

Le parapente est un véhicule à énergie solaire (oui oui!), qui utilise les thermiques (courants ascendants d’air chaud), pour gagner de l’altitude et ensuite planer jusqu’à… d’autres thermiques pour se déplacer bien sûr !
Ces thermiques sont créés grâce au soleil qui réchauffe le sol et l’air au dessus, et comme l’air chaud est moins lourd que l’air froid, il va monter en altitude et créer ce fameux courant ascendant ou thermique !
C’est pour cela que l’on voit souvent des parapentes ou planeurs tourner dans le ciel pour rester dans cette colonne d’air chaud qui monte afin de gagner de l’altitude.
C’est encore plus vrai en cette période de printemps, où il y a une forte différence de température entre l’air au sol et l’air en altitude ce qui permet aux meilleurs pilotes de réaliser des vols allant jusqu’à plus de 400 km de distance uniquement grâce au soleil !
Un magnifique film sur le vol de distance : « Libre comme l’air » réalisé par deux copains Antoine Boisselier et Nicolas Hairon avec Guillaume Chatain présente super bien cette activité avec là encore des paysages à couper le souffle !

Today: the presentation of Paragliding Distance Flight with beautiful landscapes flown through only two superb paragliding flights through 4 massifs of the Alps !
We wanted to share this video with you as showing you how we perform our aerial images in a totally non-polluting way that will be incorporate in the future interviews of the Fly for the Earth Project.
It is especially these incredible landscapes that strengthen our motivation to invest our energy in the fight against climate change by trying to protect our Earth.

Paragliding is a solar-powered vehicle (yes!), Which uses thermal (current of warm air upward) to gain altitude and then glide to … other thermal to move off course !
These heat are created by the sun, warming the soil and the air above, as hot air is lighter than cold air, it will go up in altitude and create that famous current of warm air upward or thermal !
That is why we often see paragliders or gliders turn in the sky to stay in this column of warm air which is rising to gain altitude.
This is even more true in this time of spring, when there is a large temperature difference between air on the ground and air in the altitude which allows the best pilots make flights up to 400 km distance only with solar energy !
